As we announced last week, Facebook has introduced new tools at the f8 conference. In addition to new social plug-ins, such as the Recommendations plug-in (remember to be logged in to Developers to access it), Mark Zuckerberg's team has also introduced a new statistics tool: Facebook Insights. Compared to the old statistics tools of the social network, Facebook Insights analyzes not only fan pages and applications, but also crawls websites. In this post we will focus on what concerns fan page statistics.
Facebook Insights is accessible at the address: http://www.facebook.com/insights .
If we click on the link and we are administrators of a website, a screen will open with our fan pages. There we can differentiate: Fans (or followers) and interactions.
Facebook Insights: Fans
Facebook's tool offers us a comparison website development service of the number of daily followers. The first graph shows us the number of active users of our page with daily analysis. It gives us a good insight into the use that users make of our page: the number of fans who participate, how many "Likes" our comments get, how many comments on the wall, etc.

The second graph shows us the evolution of the number of fans. By number of fans we mean how many followers we have added and how many followers have stopped being fans of the page. The interesting thing about the new tool is that we can now see at what point a fan becomes a fan of the page (and analyze why: an article, an offer, a giveaway, etc.). Following these graphs, Facebook Insights offers us an analysis of the demographic composition of our followers. We are offered a breakdown by country, city and even language.

The third graph shows us what our followers visit on our page and distinguishes between page views and unique views. Unique views are considered the number of clicks the page received (a follower may have made several clicks). Unique views refers to the number of followers who visited the page. _________________ website development service |
